A Prayer of thanks for the New Year

Father, we want to be Your faithful followers as You fulfill Your purpose in our lives.

The Psalmist traced Your hand to the secret place where all Your ordained plans were written for his life before he drew his first breath. We too can trace Your hand in the origin of our birth right up to the present day in which we start out another year.

You have called us this year to “Come and buy... even without Money” Isaiah 55:1-3. Our hearts open to you so that you fill your people with your Holy Spirit, to enable each one of us walk through the year faithfully.

We trust your word and we are ready to buy; total healing for everyone who has been under the bondage of disease and sickness, we buy property, lands, houses, cars, jobs, peace and stability in the world and everything you consider deserving for us to be happy and rejoice in your goodness.

Help us to do your work in this year more than ever as you order our footsteps. We declare, we shall not be afraid of anything, for You will help guide us through the uncertainties and puzzlements that will frequent our path, because  You alone fully knows what Your plans are for our lives (Jeremiah 29:11). We trust You for the days ahead in this year 2012.

In the precious name of Jesus we pray.  Amen.
